Mudpuppy Charters specializes in sight fishing in the backcountry. In this clear, shallow water, often just inches deep, you are figuratively "hunting" the fish. From red fish, to permit, snook, bone fish and tarpon you will see the fish before they ever see you. You'll experience "tailing" fish as they dig into the mud and grass to eat shrimp and crabs with only their tails flashing in the sun. All of this is possible due to the small, lightweight skiff and expert poling of Captain Chris.
