Capt. John has a lifetime of fishing knowledge and over 17 years of experience fishing the northern gulf coast in the Pensacola, Navarre and Perdido Key waterways. "I have enjoyed fishing all my life. While living in the Midwest, I fished Kentucky & Barkley Lake for years along with the Ohio River and many local waterways. My first passion was bass fishing, but when I visited the Gulf Coast I found my new love: Salt Water Fishing !"
The excitement of saltwater fishing is like nothing else. Hooking into monster trout on the flats or having a big redfish pull off 40 yards of line in seconds is what it's all about. I will try to make your trip the most memorable trip you have ever had.
Kids are always welcome aboard the Mega-Bite; just seeing a child proudly holding up his or her fish for a photo to show off to Grandparents, Mom & Dad, after a vacation just makes my day. People travel the world to seek out the best fishing spots they can find. The panhandle is very unique because it has both shallow water flats and back country estuaries that hold tons of trout and redfish, and with only a short 20 minute boat ride we can be in Pensacola Bay fishing for snapper, grouper, monster redfish, and Spanish mackerel. We may also fish Pensacola Pass for its variety of fish like Jack Crevalle, sharks, redfish, king mackerel, and sheepshead, depending on what's biting.
