My name is Captain Eric Stapelfeld, and I have been fishing off Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard for over 26 years. My Cape Cod fishing charter boat, Hairball Charters, leaves Falmouth Harbor daily from May through October.
I am happy to take fishing charters with highly experienced anglers or beginners, and I especially enjoy taking out families with children. I have three young ones of my own.
My specialty is trophy striped bass, and using my custom-designed Hairball lures we haul in 40-inch stripers just about every day. And I guarantee you'll catch a big striped bass, or I'll give you another trip free.
We can also go after bonito and false albacore near Falmouth and Martha's Vineyard or we can go offshore for marlin, blue fin tuna, mahi mahi and other blue water species.

The steep ''v'' hull and flair in the nose defends my guests from the meanest waves that the Atlantic can produce. Plus a five-hundred-horse power plant gets us to the fish quickly. This is my striped bass destoyer.
Downeast
Downeast · 37' · Sport Fisher · New this season, is a 37' down east sportfishing machine. This heavy, broad-shouldered offshore monster that can take us a hundred miles into the gulf stream and at the same time make guests feel very secure on a super-stable platform equipped with all the best cutting edge deep-sea safety equipment. We are really eager to put cod and haddock trips together, as well as head to the canyons for tuna marlin, and dolphin, when the summer gulf stream currents cooperate.
