Captain Steve Murray has been fishing and guiding the backcountry in the Florida Keys since 1997. He has over 40 years fishing experience. Steve was raised in the Chicago area and as a youngster fished throughout the western suburbs and spent most summers fishing the Northwoods in Wisconsin at his grandparents' in Arbor Vitae, Wisconsin. He became an expert fisherman on inland lakes and rivers and guided his friends to some of their first big fish. Captain Steve also became an expert fly fisherman for salmon, trout and steelhead on the tributaries of Lake Michigan. Throughout his life he has fished from Alaska, the Northwest Territories and Canada, to the Florida Keys. Fishing has always been his number one passion.
