I'm Captain Donnie Davis, I own and operate D.O.A. Charters on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. As you can see, this is not your ordinary charter site and I will strive to make sure that your experience aboard the DOA is also far from ordinary. And while our goal is always to put some fish in the box, I want to make sure that it is as exciting for you as possible. I specialize in light tackle fishing, plainly put, we'll try to catch the biggest fish that we can while using the lightest possible tackle. It is also my hope that you will not only catch some fish aboard the DOA but also that you will learn something about the resource that we are using.

The boat
D.O.A.
Chris Craft · 22' · Center Console · D.O.A. is a 22 foot Chris Craft center console with 200hp Evinrude Ocean Pro outboard propulsion. The vessel is equipped with a live well, GPS navigation system, Sitex bottom machine, and a marine radio. The vessel's forward has a large casting deck underlain with three kill boxes for your catch. This year I have added a tower atop the T-Top for better sight fishing opportunities, e.g. cobia and blackdrum. In addition, D.O.A. has the ability to store 19 rods so we will always be rigged up for whatever situation arises.
